Changes for the 2019–20 Season

We finished last season with 24 teams, having played last season with three Leagues of 8 teams. To cut a long story short, we still have the same 24 teams this year with just some changes of venue.

No new teams then, but many thanks go to Karyn Johnston for her efforts to publicise the League, which has certainly led to several new players coming forward; this is always welcome.

We have three teams who have changed venue this year, one of them being my own for the first time ever since I started playing in the League back in the mid-90s. We do truly live in unprecedented times!

The three changes of venue are:

Cock Inn	Broken Cross Club (after a lot of issues last season with changes of management at the Cock Inn, the team have settled on a new venue at Broken Cross Club)
Ox–fford	Nags Head 'B' (the Ox–fford move on from the Ox–fford – or 73 and Pizza as it is these days – and take up residence as the second team playing from the Nags Head)
Ox–fford 'C'	Queens (the 'C' move on from the Ox–fford, their home since 2002, to the Queens Hotel, directly opposite Macclesfield railway station)
