How to Steer an Aeroplane

Bit of a trick question, this. The tiller is used to steer an aeroplane while it's on the ground.

While the craft is in the air, the pilot uses a joystick to steer it. I wonder how many people gave this as the answer to this question?

Admittedly the joystick could not be described as a steering wheel, but you can't always rely on the wording of a question to steer you (if you'll pardon the pun) to the correct answer.

The joystick is also known as the control column, and some are known as the side–stick or sidestick controller.
